Testerone problem? Underdeveloped genitals?

Post a new topicby overkill on Tue Jul 08, 2008 11:54 pm

Okay here are the symptoms it looks like genitals haven't grown since i was twelve ( i'm 16) one testicle is like 5 times bigger than the other in length in width....i can voluntarily retract one testicle but not the other. Is this caused by testosterone deficiency? I think i have a few symptoms of a testosterone deficiency Also i feel nothing when i try to masturbate no pleasure at all. What is wrong with me?? I have been kicked pretty hard there before.....is this caused by an injury?

Good morning O.K., you should be worried given the value of normal levels of collective hormone during puberty and after. This can be caused by Hypogonadism.

http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/male-hypogonadism/DS00300.

After reading from that site and others concerning Hypogonadism, ask yourself questions like, do you have morning erections and if so, can your penis create an erection willingly during other parts of the day or not. How is your overall energy and mental clarity as well.

You could be suffering from some form of phobia or mental illness that makes sexual pleasure of any kind difficult. Or you could be suffering from Hypogonadism or a combination of low T and mental issues.

The best route ASAP, will be to ask your doctor or if you can make an appointment to see a specialist doctor that is called an Endocrinologist. This specialty doctor specializes in hormones, etc. If you need a referral, you can get one from your primary health care doctor. If you need help finding a doctor, let this forum know and I'll do my best to help.

If your testicles or a specific gland in your brain is preventing you from maturing during puberty, you can be put on a drug called, HCG (and possibly others) that can help other hormones in your system function, so you can go through the rest of puberty normally. Importantly before you act on this advice and any, speak with your parents or someone you trust and ask them to set up a doctor appointment.

From there, blood tests can be performed and you and your doctor can decide which route to travel next. But it does seem you may have Hypogonadism. If your penis and testicles are smaller than you would like, that is also a good indication that you are not going through puberty normally.

Take care.
