T implantable pellets

Post a new topicby Hylaversicolor on Sun Sep 30, 2007 10:03 pm

Does anyone have experience with testosterone implants? Looks like a good solution, but most of the web references returned by Yahoo & Google are outside USA. Is this therapy allowed in the States? If so, how would the cost of the implants compare with regular IM injections? Other pros and cons?

I am not aware of these pellets having FDA approval or use in the US. Therefore I can not comment on safety or cost

You are correct. The pelletts are NOT FDA approved. At this point in my life I needed to try something other than perscription drugs. Do you happen to have any other suggestions ? I hear Europe has drugs for woman like we have Viagra drugs for men. Is this correct. Would anyone happen to know the name of the drug in Europe that is like Viagra for women ? Would it be illegal to bring this drug into the US if I just so happened to visit Europe ?

I had estrogen and testosterone pelletts implanted 3 weeks ago in my hip. I have noticed a slight change in my libido but nothing like before I went into menopause. Next week I will have blood drawn to see if I need more testosterone. The cost was $290. Very painless. Slightly sore but nothing to cry about. I am aware that I may have to have this procedure done 3-4 times a year. Just until they can get me stablized to the level needed. Insurance will not pay for this procedure. Since I do feel something happening with my body regarding the testosterone I will continue on. I feel I may be on to something that will actually work for me.

I am doing the Hormone Therapy Pellets. I had a"0" Testosterone level.
They implanted a 125 mg Pellet in my hip and with in 4 weeks my level was
at 360. I am already geting the nice feeling back.
Dr. Amanada Brimhall gave me another Pellet 75mg as she wants my level
between 600-700 range.
Go to [moderator note: website address has been removed] and read about it. It is not FDA approved but they
have known about this method since 1939. I would rather go all natural since I feel
like I have been left out to dry my "medical doctors" for the past 10 years. Finally
know more creams to inject or rub into myself. No patches.
Viagra for Men and nothing for women. HA ! I honestly believe I have found the answer.

Here are a few sites to look into.
www.hormonebalance.org

www.pellettherapy.com

www.sottopellettherapy

It is working for me. Perhaps not immediate but I can feel the difference and its natural.
