low testosterone and ClomidHi
I am a male of 26 years old. I had seen an urologist for my erection problem. I do get nocturnal erections. But while masturbating I hardly get full erection. Even if I get full length it does not stay erect even for a minute. I had couple of times foreplay with my fiancee but then also could not get an erection. With this problem, I also have depression fatigue, stress, anxiey, tiredness. But I am quite masculine, menly voice, and large amount of body hair. Urologist diagnosed me with Testosterone deficiency (total testosterone 256 ng/dL). I also saw an endocrinologist , he told me to get LH and FSH bloodwork done. My LH (6.2 mIU/mL) is normal and FSH (2.7 mIU/mL) lying to low end of the range. My fertility is also good (59 million/mL, 61 %motility) Seeing the blood work both the doctors, told that it should be the case of secondary hypogandism. Initially urologist wanted me to start with testosterone replacement therapy. But before starting it he warned that it will reduce my sperm count. I have plans for having kids 3 - 4 years down the line. So he has put me on Clomid (clomiphene citrate) 25mg dose daily for atleast next 6 months. He will be monitoring testosterone after every one month. He told that I might have to take clomid daily till my wife conceives with my child, and then he would start testosterone replacement therapy. I have been taking clomid now for last 5 days. But still could feel any difference in me. How many days I will have to wait to see some noticebale change in me? Is 25 mg dosgage low? I also came across another medicine called Novaldex. Is Novaldex better option than Clomid?
