Since I have been so personal about my cervical dysplasia, I thought it would only be fit that I share the newest obstical in my life. I went in for a routine check up (pap test) at my gynecologists office, everything came back fine. But about 3 weeks after I had to go back. I started getting open sores and was in a lot of pain. I couldnt go to the bathroom or anything. I went and seen my gynecologist again, they took a sample and told me they would call me back and let me know what it was. So I decided that I didnt want to wait. I went and seen my family doctor, she ran the test right then and there. I now have herpes, my husband doesnt have them and I didnt have them before I went to see my gynecologist. When I found this out I did some research along with my doctor. We found out that the instruments that had been used hadnt been cleaned properly before being used on me. That is how I contracted the herpes virus. I just want all of you out there that may read this to please be careful. Look into where you go, what doctors you see and what instruments they use. Make sure it is a clean invironment, and if your gut tells you something is wrong then I guarantee you'll be right. Keep your head up and dont let anything get you down.
