Unlike men with ED,my problem is just the opposite. Since puberty I constantly get erections wether by sexual arrousal or being in awkward situations. For instance,taking showers after p.e. class in jr. high I would have embarresing erections. Likewise, being naked in total privacy in my own home in any room other than the bathroom, or during a physical exam.
I am now 52 and my frustration leads me to reach out for solutions. I have not found any articles or internet sites dealing with this. This condition has made me avoid any intimate or sexual contact with women,(I am not gay). I enjoy going to the beach and prefer to wear Speedo type brief swim suits for maximum tanning exposure. However, this exposure leads to a persistent erection that accentuated by the suit fabric, followed by a mucus-like discharge from my penis that seeps through the suit.
Do I have a real medical condition, or is this a psychological problem? Any information/help would be welcome. I would like to enter some relationship before it's too late, if it isn't already.

It may be psychological. You could have your testosterone level checked. Drugs that can have effect on decreasing sex drive and erection like Proscar may be of benefit to you and certainly wouldn't hurt to try as you probable have some prostatic enlargement at your age, good luck
