before menopause bleeding

Post a new topicby michelled on Sun Sep 23, 2007 2:30 pm

I'm 48, super healty, and my periods for the last few years have changed tho i've never missed one, they're heavy, and with clotting. However the first few days i'm pretty much bleeding to death, with nasty clumps, my uturine lining i'm assuming. Cramps aren't bad, but i've never had super bad periods, and never PMS so i'm never a B****. I'm looking for a way to deal with what i'm going thru without going to the doctors, i hope. So natural medicines, and the knowledge that this won't continue much longer like this.
so you other gals who are healthy, with annoying periods, or have been thru this i'm waiting for your advice. thanks!

On a positive note periods dues lighten up in time, it just feels like forever! I do extra yoga classes before and while I get my period and it seems to help. Here is a link I think you should check out. It's pretty long and scientific so if you're bored at work it'll help pass the time! It's new in the US, but apparently rivals BHRT and HRT with no side effects. The research supporting is phenomal!

My doctor actually sent it to me as I can't take hormones (sister had breast cancer) and soy caused thryoid problems.
