Hi, me and my husband are trying to have a baby. Its been 8 yrs. From the start we knew we would have problems, but we put it off and made ourselves believe that we didnt want kids to ease the pain. well, here we are committed to have a baby now. my husbands story...
Born fine, but after birth lost lots of blood due to nurse taking clamp off umbilical cord way to soon. So now he has spinal injury and in a wheelchair, no paralysis, just cant use legs no muscle or something. He can get an erection just fine, can have sex, but IF theres ejaculation, its very little. Okay so we went to first urologist appointment and all he did was check his testes and penis for any irregularites, none, and sent us to have test done to check for retrograde ejaculation. and now we're in the process of getting new doc cause he's trying to charge us $380 just to tell us these results. really heart breaking. okay so my question for you is, do you know what might be wrong with my husband just by me telling u all this? Theres not many sources here at all. we've researched online alot, and I've come up with different things like, blockage, retrograde, and electro shock therapy. and how can we even check to see if his sperm are even useful? Thats what I want to know, is his sperm potent? cause after sitting in a wheelchair his whole life i doubt it. and is there something to make the sperm good again if needed? I hope i'm being understandable. I'm just up to my ears in possiblites and cant find help.
