Infertility

Post a new topicby mark_garcia on Mon Feb 18, 2008 11:36 am

Three years ago, I was diagnosed to have seminoma and it was located on my chest as a mediastinal mass. An operation was done for the removal of the mass, when my doctor confirmed the result as seminoma, he examined by testes and discovered that I have an undescended right testis. Three weeks after the chest operation, I was recommended for radiation theraphy (linear accelerator) on my chest for 23 sessions. On the following month, the right testis was removed. My question has something to do with fertility: 1) Can i still impregnate a woman even if I have one left testis? 2) What would be the suggested things that I will do to remedy this, if it will affect my fertility? I hope you are going to give me enough explanation on this matter. Thanks and more power. - mark_garcia
