Ring for EDMy husband seems to be suffering from ED. He is in his early 30's, exercises regularly, we eat a very healthy diet, he doesn't drink or smoke, and takes no medications. He's been having this problem for about 4 months, though it did happen occasionally before that. He has not gone to the doctor yet, and he may do that soon. But in the meantime I cannot figure out what could be wrong except for possibly stress, or hormonal problems... I've tried giving him several different herbs but it doesn't seem to be helping. I'm wondering if anyone has tried using the ring that you put on the basis of the penis to hold the blood in and maintain an erection. Has anyone had success with this?
Re: Ring for EDA ring would help if hubby can get it up in the first place -- it slows down or stops the flow of blood out of the penis, and so prolongs the erection. The veins are closer to the surface, while the main arteries are deep inside, so any kind of constriction will affect the outflow more than the inflow.
I find that office rubber bands are every bit as effective as purpose-made constriction rings, and cheaper too. Double them over as many times as needed to give a good tight fit, and use extra bands for more constriction. Standard caution: don't leave the bands on for more than half-an-hour -- you need to allow some circulation in there.
