I am 20 years old. Up until around December of last year, I had no problems getting an erection and keeping it. I could be rock hard for as long as I wanted to. In december, a friend and I had been at a party and we both had quite a bit to drink. Later that night when we went to have sex, I couldn't get it up. I thought, too much booze, no biggie right? We decided to just try again in the morning, but when we woke up, the same thing happened. I could get it up for a minute or two, but it would not remain full and wained after that until i had no control over it whatsoever. I think this is psychological because I have absolutely no problem getting a full erection for masturbation. I also get erections when I am making out/really close with a girl, but when the time comes it just goes flat.. I don't get it. Does anyone have any advice on who I should talk to about this problem? I am in good health and have suffered no physical injuries that would cause this so I'm almost positive it's psychological.

Dear vincenso i am 21 and have the same problem as u, when making out have full erection even for masturbation, but at the time for penetration it just gone dead....i have decided to talk to my doctor about this problem.. i will let u know what happen

Dude I am 16 and I have the same problem. I Just starting having sex (or trying to have sex) with a friend of mine and like you, whenever I am making out with her or whatever I can get an erection no problem, but as soon it comes to sex, it doesn't work out.

I've tried many different strategies, but the most I've gotten so far with any of them is penetration, then I just lose it. I've never had any problems having sex. Hell, I've gone for six hours straight before! I just wish I knew who to talk to about this. There's gotta be someone out there that specializes in this type of thing.

Hey man, im so glad to here that im not the only one with this problem. I never have completely had sex the way I should be able to. I tried to have sex with my girlfriend for the first time when I was 18 and we couldn't. She was on top and it wouldn't get hard enough to penetrate. It was the most embarassing thing that I have ever had to go through. The same thing happened with my third girlfriend. I ended up having sex with her but just barely and it didn't last for longer than 30 seconds. I've meant to talk to someone about it but I just kept putting it off. I hope to find some answers myself.
