Is it better to get up at night and empty your bladder when you have the urge OR try to "hold it" and go back to sleep?

Ive been informed by my doc to go soon as I feel the urge to go since it causes issues with urinary rentention and bladder wall thickening

Should look into some supplements to alleviate the symptom associated with an enlarged prostate and reduce the nightly urge to go to the bathroom during the night. I buy one at WalMart called Urinozinc that has helped me without side effects. Not a miracle drug but has helped for $10

Since i posted last, I've had BPH surgery and am 100% cured!! Should have had surgery years ago. feel great and pee like a teenager and no urge at nighttime
